Once the order is in our hands, it will be completed in 2 weeks or less. You will be contacted and updated if we encounter any issues or slowdowns while working on your firearm.
Do you offer expedited or rushed services?
Yes, we do. Pricing is listed below. Please email sales@defiantmachineworks.com to order rushed services, as we want to be sure we can meet your timeline.
1 Week – $75
3 Day – $115
Same Day – $200 (Dependent on availability.)
Do you offer in-person drop-off or pick-up if I am local?
Yes, we do. When placing your order, you can use code “localdrop” so you don’t have to pay shipping. Once the order is placed, you will be contacted via text or email to schedule a time to drop off your firearm.
Once you place an order, you will receive full shipping instructions via email, but here are a few notes.
Shipping process for FIREARMS/SERIALIZED FRAMES:
It is federally legal for you to ship directly to us. However, changes to UPS and FedEx policies make it more secure for all involved to use a local FFL (gun shop, pawn shop, gunsmith, etc.). We would greatly appreciate it if you chose this route. It gives both parties more peace of mind. Having it shipped through an FFL is also often less expensive.
Shipping process for SLIDES AND NON-SERIALIZED PARTS: (SIG grip modules with FCU removed and 2011 grips removed from the frame)
Feel free to ship USPS or UPS.
Who is responsible for shipping costs?
The shipping charge you see at checkout is for us to send the completed firearm, frame, or slide back to you. You will still be responsible for paying to ship the firearm, frame, or slide to us. Please see our shipping directions for how to ship those.
Once the order is in our hands, it will be completed in 2 weeks or less. You will be contacted and updated if we encounter any issues or slowdowns while working on your firearm.
Can I edit an order once I place it?
We highly recommend that you know what you want before placing an order. Depending on our workload, we might have already started work on your firearms, so we can’t guarantee that we will be able to make changes, though here is our general rule.
Local drop-off orders have a 24-hour window to make changes to the order.
Shipped orders have a 72-hour window to make changes to the order.
Can you fix a bad stipple job or update my current stippling?
You should email us photos at sales@defiantmachineworks.com so we can check them out and tell you what we think can be done. It all depends on the firearm’s model and what has already been done.
Do you offer a Law Enforcement/First Responder/Military discount?
Yes, we offer a 15% discount. Please email your ID to sales@defiantmachineworks.com for verification.
Do you charge a Disassembly/Reassembly fee?
We do not charge a disassembly/reassembly fee for all services listed on the site.
Can you re-mill an existing optic cut or a factory optic cut?
No, once a slide has been milled, we cannot mill it for something else.
For Glock MOS slides, we can remove the locating studs to make them 507k footprint compatible.
